Moral # 10

In creating my first blog for my Crystal Gifts online store at GiftsForYou.Biz, I promoted it by submitting The Collectible Crystal Blog to as many top blog directories as I could.

Then I created a personal blog, which I promoted by submitting to as many top blog directories as I could, although fewer than I did for my Gifts Blog.

Then I created my "and the Moral of the Story is..." blog, and it seems, I only listed it with one blog directory. Funny thing is, that one blog directory turns out to be the most inspirational and social directory I've ever had the pleasure of visiting.

And so I now find myself promoting the blog directory!

Many, many kudos to Blog Catalog! And to its user Monawea for inspiring its promotion at the BlogCatalog Buzz Experiment.

Moral # 9

I was ordering pizza, and they had a special: 2 large 2-topping pizzas for $16.99. So, I ordered one pepperoni and black olive, and the other Hawaiian.

The girl lets me know that Hawaiian is a specialty pizza and the computer needs a 2-topping. So, I say, "Alright, then... I'll have a ham and pineapple." She said that works great!

Moral # 8

A friend at work bought two Wii controllers for himself, and to bring with him and his Wii for a work "Fun Day".

I then won a Wii in a drawing at the Fun Day, and later began the search for a second controller. My friend from work offered to sell me one of his at full price. However, later, he gave me my money back and said he was comp'd (compensated) for the two controllers he had bought, and so, would just give me one. Later, I told him, comp or not, it was his, and offered to pay full price. But he was so adamant about not accepting money for it, we ended up agreeing on half price.

Moral # 6

I knew a know-it-all at one time, and I was stupid enough to ask their advice... After six months of knowing this person, you figure I would have known better.

and the moral of this story is...

P.S. I did formulate after the fact that: "A 'Know-It-All' is a person that has some level of intelligence or experience, but lacks the equal balance of humility or modesty."

Moral # 5

This morning, a friend of mine went to unlock their truck door with their house key! The worst part is, because their truck is in a garage, they always leave it unlocked.

I bought a remote for $10. The stop button pauses movies. The pause button plays my movies. And the play button stops my movies.
